Self and double charting sounds like a great way to get school-aged children to self-assess and generalize their progress to other settings. Is this a technique that should be used from the first day a tool (i.e., bouncing) is taught or should the tool/technique be taught and practiced well before the charting begins? Should a comfort level of the task be established before the child is expected to chart themselves?
