Hi Rebecca, thanks for your comment! Although the most of male PWS whom I have met are extremely emotional, sensitive, caring and deep-thinking, SOME OF THEM tend to be completely the opposite. I have actually met a few boys who - maybe as a shield or maybe it's just how they are - were even rude, cold-hearted, perky, or snobs. I think it is a way of cutting the connection with the world, in order to keep the problems inside and appear strong on the outside.
