Hello Jennifer, I am very glad you took these stuttering courses, and hope you like them. As I said before, not all stutterers find acting helpful - me, for example am too afraid to try - but there are people who can sink deep into another personality (i.e.act) and then "forget to stutter". In this "play" the alleviating factor is that there is no pressure of having to talk perfectly. Even better if my actors stutter, and they can stutter more or less, they can invent some new way of stuttering if they want to... Imitating another person's way of stuttering also lifts the pressure off the actor. ///// To answer your questions, I'm not an expert: I don't know. I just wrote a few lines for the people who want to try it, to try it :) If they discover they like it and if it makes them happy, that is enough for me.
