Once the person and/or location of the teasing situation is identified to you by the child, what is your next step to reduce the teasing and negative aspects of the situation? Do you suggest speaking with the client's classroom teacher, or just working with the client to learn to better handle his/her emotions about the situation, and a way out of the situation once it has begun?
