They like the pen and the feeligs pictures/words. I am not sure "like" is the feeling. If there is a problem, they are relieved to share it. If there isn't a problem it is pretty routine. Sometimes they get a kick out of telling on a sibling and joking about how siblings "don't count." If teasing by a sibling is "mean teasing" all the rules apply. Often it is "affiliative teasing" the kind that people who are connected do to show their connection. It is important to guide kids to distiguish between ignorance, meanness, and affiliation. It is also good for them to realize they may not have enough data to know whether teasing is the result of ignorance or is unkind.
