Hi Connie, Thank you for your paper, and for the PDF. I will bring it to the attention of the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator) at the school I work in on a Monday morning. One issue that concerns me is that the majority or all schools have adequate to good anti-bullying policies in place. But do playground supervisors know when a stammering / stuttering child feels uncomfortable / hurt by the actions of other children / adults? I was bullied at school about my stammer. My grandmother taught me 'sticks and stones my break my bones, but names will never hurt me'. Thereafter I repeated that (stammering) to bullies. They left me alone because I did not rise to their bullying, and went on to bully some other poor child. In those days we had no bullying policies. Once again, Thanks for your thoughts, Keith
