I have used this video with my daughter to give us an opportunity to talk about stammering and to get her to talk about her feelings. She has also used it to help her explain her feelings about her stammer by showing it to her Dad, her grandmother and her brother. Sometimes, if she is feeling a bit vulnerable about here speech she will watch it and it gives her some comfort in knowing she is not alone. Like so many other kids in her situation she doesn't meet too many other kids who stammer so this video at least helps her see that other kids may be feeling the same as she is. I also found it a good way to bring up my daughers stammer with other family members, it is a way to encourage openness about stuttering.
