The character "Swish" in the video can make it more fun and comfortable for the children to cope with having a stutter and possibly encourage them to keep practicing speech techniques. Not only would this video comfort a child who stutters, it allows the child realize that they are not the only ones and there are other children going through the same thing. The video can help parents better understand where their child is coming from and what they are struggling with the most. This can present an opportunity for parents and their children to sit down and talk further about what the child is feeling and possibly open the door for the parent and child to practice speech techniques.
