You are right, Joseph. Most of the students who are participating in the online conference are from the U.S. There are many universities in the U.S. that train people to be speech therapists and many of the professors require their students to check into the conference. Some students are from African nations. I have a student currently who is from Kenya. It is my hope that there will be many students from Uganda and other African nations in the future that become trained in speech therapy, and bring that specialty back to their home country. Someday, I also hope there will be a major for students in Uganda who want to become speech therapists, to study in a university closer to home. I know there is a program already in South Africa. Judy
