I am a graduate student in Communicative Disorders and I found your article fascinating and very inspiring. The whole concept of expectatins seems like something that most people don't even notice or think about. My question for you is: When you discovered the effects of expectations in your life were you already recovered from stuttering, or was that the turning point for you?
