Expectations can really sink someone's ship. I agree that so many people allow their expectations to run their lives and they miss out on so many opportunities that may arise in their lifetime. After reading the example of Mrs. Field's that you gave, I felt refreshed and excited about reaching for goals and trying new things no matter what the hindrance is.
