Tio.... YOU SAID... It was an interesting and inspiring way to get to the point, and being a stutterer myself I cannot disagree. However, it is really hard not to quit, especially if people periodically put you down, and not just about stuttering, but about everything you are..... MY RESPONSE .... Nobody said it was going to be easy. Or instant. But changing your thinking OVER TIME does eventually work. You just have to have enough staying power to hang in there when the going is rough. That's why it's a good idea to participate on a stuttering list . Other members' comments are always very supportive. And sharing your bad experiences takes away a lot of the sting. John
