Thank you. I enjoyed reading your article. I do agree people who stutter are oppressed. But I think the issue is not to change society and how they handle dealing with people who stutter. I think the best solution is to do mostly what we already are doing; there are clubs, Associations, and many resources for this "culture" of people. Support groups are imperative to help people who stutter. But I'd like to go a step further and have support groups for people who do not stutter-these groups would be advocates for people who stutter and also work on how to react/respond or handle situations with stutterers. Also, I really like how you pointed out the difference between famous stutterers and not famous stutters. Has there been any research done on what makes a stutter famous/successful vs. not? I'd be interested to know the different dynamics that make up the two categories.
