Russ, I absolutely beleive that because you stutter, you have an amazing impact on different individuals you encounter; however, I'm sure your everyday communication partners find you amazing as well. You sound like a very motivated, positive person, which anyone I know would aspire to be, especially individuals who have communication disorders. I know that individuals that have communication disorders, whether it be a language, fluency, or articulation disorder, will find your story very inspiring. To know that stuttering is just something you do, like tying your shoe or riding a bike, not something you are, is an awesome thing to acknowledge. I am inspired by your story and I thank you for sharing it with me. Now my question to you is, Russ, what techniques in therapy helped you, and what techniques did you not find so helpful? And why do you think your speech become worse after you went to 'speech correction' camp?
