Hi Veronica, ..... Thanks for reading my paper. ..... The idea of the "gift" of stuttering is extremely controversial to say the least. While ** I ** believe it has definitely been a gift for ME, I won't presume to convince anyone that it is a gift for them too. As a matter of fact, if we had a vote in a room full of stutterers, the vote would be 99 to 1 against that idea. So you're absolutely not alone in your skepticism. Even a lot of my good friends who stutter think I'm a little nuts when I say that. <grin> ..... But it does go to show that we are all different. And viva la difference! .....
