Hi Russ! I really enjoyed reading your paper. It is so great to hear how you were able to overcome your fear of speaking to people and were able to touch so many lives. I think it is a wonderful quality when someone can make the best out of any situation and you definetly showed this with your bravery. I really believe that an attitude like this is what will change how other people with communication problems feel about themselves. It is so important to first feel confident about yourself and therefore in this way you were able to help so many people! I really think that what you are doing is great and I really appreciate how you are spreading the word. I am an undergraduate Speech and Hearing major at GW and I am really interested in stuttering. I have been reading a lot of literature about it lately and I just had a couple of questions. Do you think that your stuttering become worse during your adolescent years? Also, why do you think that the stuttering correction camp proved to be unsuccessful? Do you think it could it could have anything to do with your age at which you attended? Once again, I want to thank you for sharing your story and I know that you will go on to help so many more people throughout your life. I wish you the best of luck. Thank you.
