Hi Sara, ..... Thanks for your kind words. However it really didn't take as much courage as you might think. I was forced - virtually at gunpoint <grin> - to join both the NSA and Toastmasters. (See http://www.WeStutter.org and http://www.toastmasters.org for details on both those wonderful organizations.) In Toastmasters especially, it's like diving off the high dive at a swimming pool. Yeah, it takes a little guts (and prayers, ha, ha!) to do it the first time, but after that it really starts being FUN. Once it started being fun - and it honestly didn't take that long - it doesn't any courage at all after that. The problem now is to shut me up! Ha, ha, ha! ..... But you're absolutely right about being able to make a difference in the lives of other people around you - and not even realize it! And that not only applies to me, but to you too! It's an amazing revelation when it really happens to you. And YOU will affect the lives of sooo many people with your speech therapy. I just hope you realize what power you have. The sad part is that you may never know 99% of the lives you've touched. But the 1% that you DO know will make it all worthwhile! ..... My very best to you, Sara! Enjoy the rest of this wonderful conference! ..... Rus
