Hey Mike! ..... Thanks for your kind words. They really do mean a lot to me. ..... Alan Rabinowitz... Oh my God, YES!! He was the keynote speaker at our NSA conference in Nashville several years ago. His keynote speech was pretty good - he had rehearsed it very well and he was pretty fluent. But that evening, several of us including Alan, got together informally and he asked if we wanted to see some of his wildlife pictures. Well duh! YES! So he set up his slide projector and showed a bunch of pictures of his various adventures all over the world, his Jaguar preserves in South and Central America, pictures of the snow leopard in the Himalayas, and so many other spectacular pictures I lost count! Those pictures were beyond amazing! Words fail me... ..... But all during this informal presentation of his adventures - his mission on earth - he actually stuttered! But it never even slowed him down. The overall message that we came away with was that you've got to surround yourself with a cause far bigger than you are. This world is not about YOU, but what you can do for the world. His stuttering and his cancer (gasp!) were absolutely incidental to his overall mission. If you want to look up to someone, this is the guy! OMG... he's just incredible! ..... And yes, I did see him again on Phil Schneider's video. It was several years later, I believe, and he looked good. His cancer doesn't seem to have slowed him down much at all. He's such an amazing guy...! ..... Where are you from in Texas, Mike? Tell Katie Dauer I said hi! Who knows, I might make it up to Minnesota some time! ..... My best to you! ..... Russ
