Mr. Hicks, What a remarkable person you are. Not because you stutter, but because you have learned how to use your stuttering to your advantage and to help others. There is nothing better than having the ability to defeat any barrier, especially one related to communication. It really is a true statemtent: "You never know who you touch." I am currently a student at the College of St. Rose, graduating in May as an SLP...I will take your story with me forever and I am certain that it will have a positive affect on the way I reach out to others; not only to all of my future students/clients but to everyone I meet.
