Hello Regina, ..... Thanks for your kind words. And good for you for showing my paper to your cousin! I'm happy to have been some help to him and to offer him some hope for his future. You need to get him into the National Stuttering Association at http://www.WeStutter.org or Friends at http://www.friendswhostutter.org/ Both organizations have wonderful programs for kids. Your professor, Lee Caggiano, runs Friends so that may be a good place to start for you. Also have your cousin contact Lee's son Michael. He's an amazing young man who also stutters. Regardless of the organization, it's very important that any person who stutters realizes that he or she is NOT alone, that there a thousands of us who stutter and who lead successful lives. Tell him I wish him the best of luck and to contact me directly if I can help him in any way. ..... As a future SLP, you'll have more opportunities to affect other people's lives than you can possibly imagine. The bad news is that you probably won't even hear about 99% of them.
