I am a graduate student in the Communication Disorders Program Appalachian State University in Boone NC. Your story is amazing! I am touched just reading about it! I have been concerned about how I could be effective in therapy with those who stutter, and now I realize that maybe the most important role I could play would be that of an encourager, an uplifter, and teach my clients confidence, whether their stuttering improves or not.
