I related to that girl in your class because as a student, although I've never had a fluency problem, I have dealt with insecurities on some level. I have met and listened to a person who stutters at my university talk about their experiences and been able to see the progression of their success despite the stuttering. I too have gained such inspiration from the determination and grit that is required to rise above stuttering, and have left the classroom in awe of them and excited about what I could do if could just call on that spirit within myself.
