Dear Mr. Hicks, I am a graduate student studying Speech Therapy at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I am currently taking Fluency Disorders this semester and I also have a couple of client’s that stutter. I am struggling with trying to reach my client’s needs and I was wondering why did you feel that the camp in Michigan did not help? I believe that in order to help my client’s I need to work on what’s most important to them whether it be their speech or attitudes towards their speech problem. What do you think would have helped during your time in speech therapy? I really enjoyed reading about your experiences!!! You have been an inspiration to me!!!! Thank You, Jennifer Nicolosi
