Hi Cortney, ..... Thanks for reading my paper and for you kind words. And you are correct. A lot of people are really bothered by their stuttering and consider it a real handicap. But there ARE other people who stutter who simply are not affected by it very much at all - if any. I knew a guy at TI who stuttered (albeit mildly) who was FAR more concerned with his baseball team than he was with his stuttering. I tried to get him to come to an NSA meeting with me several times, but he always had baseball practice those nights. Stuttering was neither a positive nor a negative in his life. It was simply a non-issue. ..... Stuttering has had some profoundly positive impacts on my life, but I'll be the first to admit that I'm unusual in that respect. But I know I'm not ALONE in my attitude towards my speech. ..... Good observation, Cortney. I wish you the very best in life! ..... Russ
