Hi Jennifer, ..... Yes indeed, we ALL have our insecurities in one form or another. And amazingly enough most people think that only THEY have any insecurities and that everyone else is perfect. Ha! If we could only see into other people's hearts! I don't know a single person who doesn't have SOME kind of insecurity. ..... It's been said that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. And that's generally true. (People sometimes don't realize that some things really CAN kill us. I could write a book on that topic!) But if you have gained any inspiration from the growing strength of others, you must realize yourself that others can be inspired by what YOUR growth. As my friend pointed out, "You never know who you touch." As a future SLP, you'll have more opportunities to affect other people's lives than you can possibly imagine. The bad news is that you probably won't even hear about 99% of them. But the good news is that the 1% that you DO hear back from will make everything you do all worthwhile! .....
