How do you persuade people who stutter to attend stuttering organizations , instead of using " gun" to drag them to the meetings?

Attending stuttering organizations seems to help you a lot to speak more fluently. Can you provide some tips of how to persuade people who stutter to attend such events, so they would not feel reluctant of participating the meetings?
