Hi Vasu, I think the reason is exactly what you stated in your initial posting. I think that most students have the mistaken belief that there is very little that can be done for stuttering other than look at it through theoretical or intellectual eyes. We need to get the message out in class and during practicum experiences that there is indeed much that can be done to assist people who stutter.
