I am currently in a fluency class and I find it very interesting. In my clincal placement, I have one child with a fluency problem that I may end up working with this semester. I am very nervous about this, I feel that I have a lot of background knowledge in this area, but not as much information as I would like. I cannot imagine not having a fluency class as a requirement and being completely uneducated in this area. I think that having a class in fluency is very important for beginning clinicians and additional seminars or workshops would be very helpful also.
