The solution for having more experience with stutterers is verry easy...The "professionals" who teach SLP's to become better therapists have to work with selfhelpgroups and have to listen to the needs the stutterers want. I think that the therapist who is working with stutterers has the duty to educate the junior SLP on the job. When the graduated slp starts his therapy on his own without anny help he/she already failed on making a stutterer better...
