Hello, I am a 2nd year SLP graduae student and would like o know in preparing for a stuering client, how do you know what's the most efficient approach for a client who stutter? I am currently working with a teenager who stutters. At this age, he's completely aware of his stuttering behaviors and dysfluencies. How caI wan to help him cope with these contributing factors that often impact or precede his stuttering moments.I too feel like some of the other graduate clinicians who also feel like he others when I feel that there's so much that I would like to offer but don't know he right way to go. In my stutering course we are learning a great deal about the swecondary behaviors that acompany stuttering and he exhibits many of hose behaviors. Thanks in advance for all your help!
