Hi Tara, Thank you for your question. At this point in your career you have many questions, and feel quite puzzled by the many different directions you could take with your client. Perhaps the first thing to find out is what the client expects from treatment and what his/her goals are. Then you can see if what you already know about treatment fits the expectations of your client. As far as what specific approach to use, I would suggest that you apply the one that you feel most comfortable with at this point. If that doesn't seem quite right, ask for some assistance from your prof or clinical supervisor in order for your therapy to be more effective for your client's needs. Good luck!
