There are several good opportunities to learn more about stuttering. Students are welcome to join the ASHA special interest division (#4) on fluency and fluency disorders. The division has an annual conference and puts on short courses at the ASHA convention. Watch for workshops put on by the SFA and NSA. At the NSA national conventions, students are welcome and for the past several years, professionals in stuttering disorders have presented continuing education workshops at the conventions. Also watch for CEU offerings. Maybe professionals do workshops around the country. I am glad your realize your education doesn't start on graduation day!
