Judy- I think that your Jeopardy game is a wonderful idea for teaching children about stuttering. I also really enjoy the idea of using it as an aid for people who don't stutter to learn about the disorder and gain acceptance for those affected by it. Even as a college junior, (majoring in Communication Science and Disorders), I played a Jeopardy game in one of my classes a week ago before a test and found it to be not only fun, but helpful. I was wondering if you thought this game could be modified to work on affective aspects of stuttering as well. An interactive game would surely encourage children to let their guard down and perhaps be more likely to discuss their feelings regarding their stuttering. Do you think this would be appropriate or a possibility to integrate in this style game? Any suggestions? Thanks so much again for your great idea!
