Christine- Your article is extremely intersting to me and truly encouraged me to look further into the Lidcombe Program as well as sparking a greater interest in telehealth applications for other therapy methods. In today's highly technological world, its not difficult to imagine a future in which those not in remote areas respond to the option of receiving therapy via video-conferencing. What a wild thought! My question to you is about telehealth. I know in your article you mention studies concerning its use with stuttering in Canada. Is this method in relation to stuttering currently being considered for use or being studied in anywhere besides Australia? Is it actually in use today or just being studied, and if it is practiced, how many people actually benefit from it today? Also, I was curious about statistics relating to the diffence in the time needed for the telehealth option as opposed to a typical clinical delivery of the LP. Thank you so much for your article!
