Hi Virginia, Thankyou for your question. Yes, consistent with standard delivery of the Lidcombe Program, measurements of stuttering frequency and severity are made during a range of naturalistic conversations in various representative contexts, usually with family members and friends. Monologue is not used. Stuttering severity is measured daily by parents and weekly conversation samples are recorded (audio &/or video) to enable the SLP to measure stuttering frequency (percent syllables stuttered/%SS).
