Hi Joseph, All the previous posts used all the words I would have used to convey my thanks for your paper. Has the Togolese Stuttering Association started a website? Can you email me with a means to get in touch? You know I will soon open a yahoo self help group 'stuttselfhelp', aimed at allowing self help groups a forum for them to exchange views and ways to best help themselves. It would be good if the African groups could join 'Stuttselfhelp' when it opens. The main problem is that this uses the Internet. I wonder how many African PWS have PCs or have access to PCs. Maybe we need funding to help to put a PC in every village, one with satellite access to the Internet. But there again, PCs need either electricity or a load of batteries. So possible villages cannot be reached at present, but we can surely reach PCs in libraries / health centres in cities if funding existed. Again, funding, WHO or others. This is a mighty topic we can discuss with others over the weeks ahead. Anyway, everyone says this is a brilliant start. I agree. I would add that this is only a beginning to reaching every country in the world and starting more countrywide associations.
