An excellent article to provide us with concrete examples of how to play a proactive role in the life of a child who stutters. So many people feel uncomfortable when interacting with a person who is experiencing dysfluencies, so your article is a wonderful reminder for all educators and family members. Although a child might not be suffering academically (which is how children generally receive speech services in school)what do you suggest would be a valid justification to present to a CSE chairperson in order to get services to address stuttering?
