Tim, great article. Proactive is my choice. What I know is that with many of us, reactive is easier. Proactive interactions and responses need to be modeled and learned. Most of us were brought up with the reactive model. I have to say that I have spent a lifetime trying to change my reactive behavior, and it's not an easy task. Parents who are reactive mean no harm, but know no other way. Let it be our mission to teach them, and continue to work on our own! This article will surely help! Thanks
