Thanks for your article about responding to stuttering! I have a friend who stutters, and some of his friends tell him to "take a deep breath and slow down" immediately after he stutters. I knew this wasn't the correct "approach" and your article reinforced that. I was wondering what you would do in a situation when an adult who stutter's friends use the reactive approach? Do you see this situation very often with adults in your practice?
