I really enjoyed your article. The negative reactions from teachers, parents and the public are something that I find to be so frustrating. You discussed the Cooper Parent Assessment and how it is obvious that parents reactions are not a fix to a child who stutters. Do you have suggestions to approaching a parent who is always telling their child to "slow down" or "think before you talk"? I could see parents getting defensive and not willing to change their ways and continue to harm their child.
