I am currently a graduate student at UW-Stevens Point. I am just beginning to work with people who stutter and find your comments very helpful. It would be very beneficial to me to become more aware of how I react to people who stutter. Knowing the difference between reactive responses and proactive responses, I believe, will help with future therapy. I will be able to identify the responses in parents (and myself)and hopefully give them some insight on how to better help their child. Thank you for sharing!
