First, I found this article to be extremely insightful. I understand the difference between reactive and preactive feedback. However, if an SLP notices that a parent is primarily using reactive feedback with a child who stutters, how would you suggest that he/she inform the parent and teach them to use proactive language instead (without offending them)?
