The Cooper offers a questionnaire for parents that is one page; short and sweet. You will get a list of symptoms and also a list of responses they have been doing. I find proactive is perhaps 60%. That would lead a dreadful 40%, wouldn't it? I'd say 70% of pre-k parents are waiting patiently and 30% saying stuff like "slow down." When stuttering is locked in, there is a greater amount of reactive advice. These parents are often frustrated with stuttering and attempts at therapy. They have heard a myriad of very different advice styles and they are confused. Help them clear it up :)
