Hello, I am a graduate student and I am taking a fluency disorder class for the first time. I am learning more and more about how to treat stuttering and it is not at all what I imagined. It seems that you spend a lot of time working on self-image. Also, I enjoyed the fact that you write from the clinician's perspective. I am sure that when I actually become a practicing clinician, it will be hard to form those boundaries. It seems expecially hard with people who stutter. What are some of the rules you have made for yourself in order to not be overly engaged in a cient's therapeutic process? Thank You, Kathryn Noerr
