It's amazing where you are led, isn't it?! I just happened to click on your article and I tell you, it is like chicken soup for my soul. I am a first year grad student as well as a single mother of two young girls. I'm terribly busy as you might imagine and I will confess I always forget about myself! I feel the same way about my clients as you did regarding their 'recovery'. I feel it is 100% me, and even though logic tells me this isn't true, I feel as though my worth as a student clinician and future clinician is based on their progress. The semester is only half over and I have been burned out since the third week. Do you have any suggestions in helping to aid my psyche into really believing that my worth as a clinician isn't based solely on my efforts? Rhea
