The internet, International Stuttering Association, British Stammering Association, mailing lists such as stutt-l, and the National Stuttering Association have provided many opportunities to connect with people who stutter in the U.S. and around the world. I wrote to several of my friends and asked if they'd be willing to correspond with one of the students in my undergraduate class on stuttering. I other cases, I contacted a friend from another country and that person connected me with someone to interview. One of the extra-ordinary people was a friend of the interviewer. Judy Kuster
