Hi Yemi, You’ve asked an important question. Indeed, many different types of disfluency can occur at the same time. I have found this pattern to be more common than not among the people who stutter I have worked with over the years, as well as in my own speech patterns during times past. You will find elsewhere in this conference a number of different personal accounts of people who stutter in which they discuss the complexity of their own stuttering and the strategies they have utilized to maximize their communication freedom and feelings of personal acceptance and success. You are not alone. Many of us who stutter continue to learn from the experiences of others, both within the professional community and the self-help community. Keep up the good work you are doing in Nigeria. David
