Peter, Thank you for this article. I like the specific examples of what to say. I will use them with my students. Now, about the parents....can you describe the process of change that parents go through? I read your JSTAR article written by a parent and that was very helpful. I would like to hear about your experiences with helping parents move from "If you work hard then....." to acceptance of the fluency. Can you give some examples of how parents have reacted?
