Excellent paper! Thank you for sharing your experiences with being positive with clients. FYI, the term of People first language "came out" during the late 70's from the disability rights movement. Advocates from then known as NSP started using PWS in 1978. The term People living with stuttering is a term borrowed from advocates using new language: People with AIDS or People with Cancer to using People living with Cncer or People living with AIDS.
