I liked the alternative terminology the article offered. As a graduate student, with no experience working with people who stutter, I think it would be difficult to talk about stuttering in a positive light to a person who stutters if their friends do not stutter, they get made fun of for it, or their parents have never put a positive spin on their stuttering behaviors.
